What is happening
At that time, the country leading the public count on The Wall will be granted the right to the study.
The study itself will take one week to complete.
This is not conceptual work. It is the beginning of country-level engineering analysis to determine whether a hydro module can physically be placed along that nation's coastline.
What the study will examine
The study will examine factors including, among others:
- Bathymetry — ocean depth and floor analysis at the ocean face and 2 km away
- Entrance geometry — required depth for the entrance structure
- Rock integrity at the coastal interface — structural viability where land meets sea
- Subsurface channel integrity — rock quality through the channels that would need to be cut
- Outflow architecture — sufficient ocean depth for the outflow system
In other words, this is where the project moves from public mandate into physical placement logic.
How the country is selected
The country selected will not be chosen by private capital, lobbying, or closed-door access.
It will be chosen by the public count.
One week from today, the country at the top of the leaderboard will be granted the first country study. The study will then run for one week.
