◀ Back to The Wall Badge Flame Carriers Charter Compliance

How Close Are We?

Every country has a number. When enough people in your country sign The Wall, deployment begins. Find your country. See the number. Close the gap.

Why Direct Participation is Disabled in Certain Countries

In some regions, the digital environment carries a level of surveillance or retaliation risk that we will not ignore. Where participation cannot be offered with a credible baseline of safety, direct participation in The Wall is disabled.

We will not ask anyone to take a personal risk for the sake of a metric. This is not a judgment on the people of those countries. It is a protection measure. The Wall was built to protect human agency, not expose it. We will always choose a lower count over compromising even one person's digital safety.

THE RULE
Module 1 is available only where 5% of a country's population reaches at least 250,000 people. Countries below that line still count on the Wall, remain visible in the race, and may become available for future deployments.
